Ace in pen

We set up Ace's pen outside, so he could be outside off leash. He enjoyed greeting people and their pets when they walked by :-)

Flagstaff to SedonaThe next morning we packed Ace into the truck and drove to Sedona. We took the Hwy 89, a scenic route. After Sedona we continued to Jerome, a small mountain town that another camper recommended. But, we did not realize that they were having a festival that day. Parking was impossible and we just drove back to Flagstaff on Hwy 17.

Red CliffsSedona is known as "Red Rock Country" for the awesome red rock formations surrounding it. Hwy 89 goes through several state parks, including Oak Creek Canyon and Slide Rock State Park.

Mark and AceWe pulled to the side of the road near Slide Rock State Park and followed a trail beside the cliffs. Ace got a little exercise and we all enjoyed the beautiful views.
