Leaving CanyonvilleToday's destination ... Crater Lake! We took the scenic route Hwy 227 to 62 to reach our destination.

We traveled in a sub-caravan of 4 trailers.

2 in front

Two trailers in front ...

Jane following

and Jane and her Bambi bringing up the rear.

Entering Park

Here we are entering Crater Lake National Park.

Into Park

On our way to the Mazama Village Campground where we stayed.

Entering Park

Here we are actually entering the Park; being over 62 is good ... we used our Golden Eagle Pass and got in for free!

Checking in

Our mini-caravan parked outside he campground getting our camping spots.

Our spot

Here is our spot; it really is in the woods.

In the trees

We dry camped, no hook ups, at Crater Lake.

Some of the slots had electricity, but we got a generator for this trip and wanted to try it out. Everything worked out well, but when we left our fresh water tank was almost empty.

The view from our back window. Our trailer is a front bedroom model, so the main living area is at the rear.

Tomorrow ... a tour around Crater Lake in a trolley!
